- Giving lectures as part of the roadshow up at Aberdeen College and Edinburgh Stevenson. Both very impressive, good turnouts, good attempts at the brief, and cracking tea and cakes. I even ended up in the local paper in Aberdeen, which was a little unnerving.
- Winning at Squash, for the first time in a very long time. Hurrah.
- Going to see a performance of Verdi's Requiem at the Royal Albert Hall. A choir of 280 people can make a really impressive noise when they put their minds to it.
- Shooting the final Men's Health Survival of the Fittest race in Edinburgh. Very good fun, and although it's only been 3 weekends it somehow feels like more. Besides the frolics of the race itself we've had lots of fun setting things up, scouting the locations and such like. I love pulling up to somewhere (where you perhaps shouldn't be parking) in a white transit van, grabbing a mountain bike out the back, then racing down a tunnel. It beats a day in the office in my opinion.
