A good way of explaining it is basically y...</title><summary type='text'>Ah VAT. A good way of explaining it is basically you offset what you pay against what you charge. A lot of businesses buy new stuff at the end of the quarter to offset what they've charged. But if you find you're paying lots of VAT at the end of the quarter, look at it as you're doing really well. TAx is a good thing really, paying more means you're earning more.
