Being too lazy to write this at the weekend, like I normally do.
Shooting the Saab/Salomon Turbo X Race in Hampshire, and getting very wet, cold and muddy in the process. I lost the lens hood for my 70-200, and discovered a marvellous soft focus effect from shooting with a misted up camera lens in heavy rain.
Going back to my Alma Mater, Blackpool College to give a lecture, and being very impressed that despite managements best efforts to gut the place, the students were some of the most confident and outgoing I’ve met yet.
Photographing Mark Roe, whilst he was coaching Nick Dougherty down at Wentworth, and getting him to do a handstand on the putting green. Very chuffed with myself, although I must say he took little persuading!
Going round London Zoo for the first time since I was about 10. Particularly liked the Rainforest exhibit, mostly because it was bloody freezing outside!
Going to a recording of Will Smith’s Mid-Life Crisis Management at the BBC Radio Theatre. Most amusing, and frighteningly like myself in his outlook!
