This Week I are Mostly Been….

  • Writing this post late, as I was rather knackered last night due to completing the last of my route finding rides for my Charity bike ride. 55 Miles yesterday, but the route’s all sorted, more info to follow very soon.
  • Shooting some instruction at a very cold Chestfield Golf Club for Women and Golf magazine.
  • Taking the car in for it’s service. The courtesy car is just fine, but I’ve not driven a Petrol engined car in 5 years, and have got rather used to the extra torque in a Turbo Diesel, plus I’ve come to rely on having a massive boot for all my gear. A Peugeot 207 isn’t quite the same size…
  • Giving another lecture at NUCA. They’re still as keen as they were last time, so we’ll have to see what we can do about that!
  • Going Laserquesting for a friend’s birthday. Besides feeling like a 12 year old, it’s very good fun. Mind you, it meant I missed the Ireland/England game, and although we won the 6 nations, I’m not sorry I missed the last game.
  • Giving blood for my 25th time. Well done me. Felt a bit crap afterwards though, but that was mostly due to the never-ending bus ride on the 12 that made me feel travel sick.
  • Chewing through both The Girl who Played with Fire and The Girl who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest. Both very enjoyable, and the sort of books I can rattle through in next to no time. Unlike the leviathan history book currently sitting on my desk.
