This Week I are Mostly Been….
|
- Photographing James Cash and Bert Portal for Triathlete’s World. They’re taking part in a little race later in the year, during which they will row across the Atlantic unsupported. Rather them than me, but that doesn’t mean I’m not incredibly impressed.
- Shooting a “Cover Model” supplement in the Lemonade Factory for Men’s Fitness. I’ll be appearing in it, as we shot a fair few behind the scenes shots as well. I will be keeping my kit on though.
- Getting a few shots of the Tackle Africa Football Marathon on Clapham Common. The weather was nothing short of atrocious, although there were a total of 64 teams playing, and they’d raised more than £100,000 even before kick off.
- Popping over to West London to put 4 players from London Wasps through the Men’s Fitness Beat the Instructor challenge. They turned in an impressive performance, and have logged the fastest time yet.
- Went down to Prince’s Golf Club on Wednesday for a Golf Monthly event. Dodged the rain, and St George’s looked like a ghost town when I drove past. I’m sure it got busier by Thursday….
- Went for my first decent bike ride in ages, and was pleased to discover I’m not as unfit as I feared.
- Had a very pleasant dinner with friends in Honor Oak.
- And last but not least, taught the last of my assistant training courses at Calumet. It was a good one to end on, well attended and with very attentive and sharp students. Hopefully I’ll do it all over again next year.
- Oh, and I forgot – we won the pub quiz as well. How could I have overlooked that?
