It’s the gift that keeps on giving! Months ago, Neil at the Nikon school asked me to give a talk at their stage during the Photography show, and describe everything that went into my “Moment of Impact” campaign that I shot last year for the Nikon D500. No problem, I said, thinking I could just re-hash the blogposts I wrote last year. Of course, it’s not quite as simple as that, and in the end I chose to re-edit quite a lot of stuff, as well as do a little demo. Not that the demo worked very well of course, but that’s the joy of shooting live!
I’d hoped to be able to video the talk, but for technical reasons I won’t bore you with, that proved not to be possible. Instead, what I was able to do was get a (mostly) clean audio feed from the mic I was wearing, and then drop imagery over the top of that. Huge thanks to Kye behind the stage for sorting that out for me! So here it is in all it’s glory. It’s just like being there. Honest.
